The St. Columba’s Nursery School Experience 

At St. Columba’s, children learn to make a friend and be a friend. Research shows that young children learn best through play, so we provide them with opportunities to take safe risks and explore the world around them through hands on experiences. We also know the value of outdoor play in children’s development, so go outside every day. Our nurturing and experienced teachers meet each child where they are and collaborate with families to support each child’s growth and development. St. Columba’s is an important investment in your child’s critical early years.

Financial Aid

As an inclusive and welcoming community, we believe that all children should have access to high-quality, play-based early childhood programming and that cost should not be a barrier for our families. We are proud to offer scholarships to families with demonstrated financial need. If you would like to apply for a scholarship, you will have the opportunity to indicate this on your child’s enrollment application.

St. Columba’s Nursery School uses School & Student Services (SSS) to gather information for financial aid applicants. Families will receive more information on how to apply once they submit an enrollment application. A small processing fee can be waived on request. Please let the School Office know if the fee presents a hardship for your family.

*Classroom placements are made by the administration to ensure developmentally appropriate placement for every child.
