We celebrated Charlie’s summer birthday today! His mom brought in delicious rice crispy treats and apple slices. Later joining us for some outdoor fun!

We learned about Ramadan. Mr. Rashid’s wife spoke about her religion known as Islam. She shared how they fast during the month of Ramadan and that her place of worship is called a Masjid. She also taught us how to say please in Arabic “Bismillah”

**REMINDER** Pizza Party/Open House tomorrow 5/18 from 5:30-7:30. Open House is a chance to walk through the school and visit in all of the different classrooms, ending your visit with pizza and water play fun outside!
