Welcome to the Dolphin Blog
Question of the Day: Would you rather ride a bike or a scooter?
Snack: pretzels and hummus
Books We Read: A Picture Book of Martin Luther King, Jr. by David A. Adler
I Want My Hat Back by Jon Klassen
Three Adventures on Deckawoo Drive by Kate DiCamillo
Activities we enjoyed included: geoboards, putting together plus-pluses, making robots out of construction paper, working in our journals, playing with cars on our new roads, riding bikes and tackling the obstacle course on the playground, building with Legos, playing with bears in gak, making fuse bead creations and coloring winter scenes and snowflakes. Today at Get-Together, Ms. Berry talked about her superheroes. Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, and Abraham Lincoln. We talked about Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday coming up and why we celebrate him. We talked about how important he was and still is to all of us in America.
Notes and Reminders: When it is your child’s turn for Show and Tell, he or she will come home with a yellow bag for bringing his or her show-and-tell item the next day. We will be having Show and Tell on Mondays and Fridays. Please encourage your child to wait to bring things to share on his or her day. Thank you!
