The St. Columba’s Nursery School Experience 

At St. Columba’s, children learn to make a friend and be a friend. Research shows that young children learn best through play, so we provide them with opportunities to take safe risks and explore the world around them through hands on experiences. We also know the value of outdoor play in children’s development, so go outside every day. Our nurturing and experienced teachers meet each child where they are and collaborate with families to support each child’s growth and development. St. Columba’s is an important investment in your child’s critical early years.

Financial Aid

As an inclusive and welcoming community, we believe that all children should have access to high-quality, play-based early childhood programming and that cost should not be a barrier for our families. We are proud to offer scholarships to families with demonstrated financial need. If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please indicate this on your child’s enrollment application.

St. Columba’s Nursery School uses School & Student Services (SSS) to gather information for financial aid applicants. Please submit your family’s financial aid application here. Please note, you will be required to provide all required tax documentation to verify eligibility. Please let the School Office know if the fee presents a hardship for your family.

*Classroom placements are made by the administration to ensure developmentally appropriate placement for every child.
