Ms. Sherer joined St. Columba’s in 2025. She holds a BA in Child and Family Studies from Converse College in Spartanburg, SC. Ms. Sherer loves working at St. Columba’s for our environment and the opportunities this offers children. With such a vibrant and open space for children to learn and grow, she sees endless opportunities for joyful days and teachable moments. She loves seeing something really click for a child. It may be automatic, or it may take some time, but she finds this most rewarding!  Ms. Sherer loves learning how to be more creative from the children she serves. To work with children is to think like a child. She is from Greenville, South Carolina and moved to the DMV in September 2024. Her favorite children’s book is “The Giving Tree” by Shel Silverstein.
