Welcome

When asked why their family chose St. Columba's Nursery School, a parent responded, "St. Columba's takes play as the work of childhood seriously and values developmentally appropriate activities. The art and outdoor experiences are amazing. The teachers truly understand early childhood education and value each child as an individual. Kids are allowed to develop and grow at their own pace while being encouraged and stimulated by awesome activities and a great environment."

What makes our Nursery School such a special place for children? We strive to make children’s needs and growth central to every facet of our program. We also accept children as they are—from their admission (no interviews, no testing and no screening visits) to their first days at school when we work exceptionally hard to know and understand everything about them. Our wonderful teachers, rich programs, and exceptional outdoor space help our students develop the skills and abilities to become independent, motivated learners and caring members of their school community.

St. Columba's Nursery School is also aligned with St. Columba's Church in our shared commitment to anti-racism. We believe that Black Lives Matter and are committed to working towards racial justice. Please visit the Church's website to access resources and to learn more about supporting these efforts.

We invite you to learn more about St.Columba’s Nursery School in these pages or at anAdmission Talk & Tour. We’d love to welcome you into our school family.
